Wood Maracas

Ching-Chok
Each end of LP Ching-Chok carries a pair of hard, wooden balls that are supported by spring steel and strike against a rosewood sound chamber. Shake it back and forth for a high-pitched rattle. It's perfect for dramatic fills or when used to support a dance beat.
Cricket
A favorite of percussionist around the globe and widely heard in Jazz, Fusion and Rock recordings, the wood body houses three steel balls that strike a metal bar to emulate the sound of a cricket.

6" Wood Tamborim
This tunable tamborim provides authentic Brazilian sound. The honey finished, hardwood shell with a rounded bottom edge for comfort is outfitted with a black synthetic head and chrome plated tuning lugs that are spaced for a comfortable grip. A Tamborim Striker (LP3046S) is included.
Lp®Tantan
The LP TanTan is 27-1/2" deep, 14" in diameter and is played with the hands. The wood shell has a low-profile rim, eight traditional hooks with mini LP Heart sideplates and a dual layer synthetic naugahyde head that eliminates overtones. The drum also has a protective rubber bottom and comes with an adjustable nylon strap.

Large Chocalho
LP Chocalhos are extremely loud shakers used to sustain the rhythm of the Bateria of an Escola de Samba. A lightweight aluminum frame with handles houses 15 sets of galvanized aluminum jingles for a trashy, cutting sound with incredible projection. It's available in two sizes; 14-1/2" x 5-1/2" and 17" x 8".

The LP Timbau drum originates from Bahia, Brazil and is mainly used for Samba-Reggae. The conical-shaped wood shell is outfitted a synthetic head, eight drum key tuning lugs, a protective rubber bottom and strap hooks with an adjustable nylon strap.
