Always On High Pass Filter

A standard Broughton high pass filter with the bypass switch removed. This design allows a more compact layout, fitting on a single pedal board rail, or even mountable underneath a pedal board. The high pass filter is a 12 dB per octave low frequency filter. The knob controls the cutoff frequency and ranges from 25 Hz to 190 Hz. It has the same frequency points as the switched version, but it does not have the frequencies printed around the knob. The input impedance is 1MΩ, and the output impedance is 100Ω. The High Pass Filter requires a DC power supply (not included). The DC supply should be a standard Boss style connector, center negative polarity. It can accept 9 to 24 volts. Higher voltages will provide more clean headroom. The current draw is approximately 10 mA.

What is FEED ME v2? FEED ME is a EQ/preamp/tone shaper and possible level boost that takes any signal you feed it and applies a blend of high and low pass filters to provide the user with 144 different tone stacks of his/her choice via the two (2) 12-position rotary potentiometers (those blue and red pointy knobs). This pedal can be placed in any position on your pedalboard. Place it first and have a switchable tone stack to drive your other pedals. It will alter the sound of your instrument and pickups. For example, set up a tone stack/sound to make your strat sound more like a tele or your P bass pickup sound like a J. Place it after your all of your pedals and let them be effected by the tone stack. Make a muddy delay sound brighter or scoop the mids on a middy drive to make it feel more brutal for your noodle. There’s no wrong way to use this pedal…maybe you should consider buying one for the front and another for the back of your board…just sayin’… Updated instruction manual coming soon. A combination of a low pass and high pass filter, as well as a clean gain. The low pass filter is a 12 dB per octave high frequency filter. The LPF knob controls the cutoff frequency and ranges from 20 kHz to 330 Hz. The high pass filter is a 12 dB per octave low frequency filter. The HPF knob controls the cutoff frequency and ranges from 25 Hz to 190 Hz. The gain control ranges from unity gain to +20dB. The input impedance is 1MΩ, and the output impedance is 100Ω. The pedal can be powered by a 9V battery or a DC power supply (not included). The DC supply should be a standard Boss style connector, center negative polarity. It can accept 9 to 24 volts. Although 9 volts is sufficient for most applications, higher voltages will provide more clean headroom when using the pedal with line level signals. The current draw is approximately 10 mA.

In early 1984 BOSS released two strange new devices under the name “The Pocket Series”. One of those devices was the FA-1 FET Preamp and it quickly found its rightful place among the legends of tone when The Edge of U2 used it on the recording of “Unforgettable Fire” as well as placing it in his following touring rigs. The Clover Preamp/Boost is our faithful interpretation of the FA-1 but with several additional features that we believe make this amazing circuit even better. You won’t want to be without your lucky tone-shaper at any gig! The Clover has four standard controls and one rotary switch on the top. The Volume control allows you to set your volume at unity or as a boost to push your amp or dirt pedals. There are three EQ controls to give you tons of control to cut or boost Bass, Mids, and Treble. The rotary switch has three settings: Full EQ, No Mid, and No EQ. When set to Full EQ all three EQ controls are in operation, giving you full control over the full range of EQ available. The No Mid setting is an exact replica of the original FA-1, removing the ability to control the Mids and leaving them in a fixed setting. When in the No EQ mode all the EQ settings are removed and the Clover becomes a straight FET boost, perfect for pushing an amp. On the right side of the pedal there is a Low Cut dip switch. This removes some of the lows if you feel your tone is too muddy and can help you cut through a mix. In addition to the standard 1/4” input and output, the Clover has an XLR output for using as an acoustic or bass preamp. These can be used individually or simultaneously if you want to go to a sound board or interface as well as an amplifier. The XLR output was designed with acoustic and bass players in mind as the Clover is a wonderful preamp that gives you a great amount of control over your sound. There is also a ground lift if you experience some hum when using the XLR output. The Clover is an end all preamplifier / boost circuit for any electric, acoustic, or bass player. The EQ is simple, powerful and doesn’t allow a bad sound. No matter what style of music you play or amp that you use, the Clover will prove to be an indispensable tool. While the Clover excels at being a preamp / boost for dirt pedals, the magic is in pushing your tube amplifier into natural overdrive. The EQ lets you hit the exact spot that your amp is naturally prone to give in at. The all-analog circuitry of the Nano Battalion provides an amazing array of bass tones in a sturdy, compact package. A versatile MOSFET drive circuit that can deliver everything from subtle, light overdrive to fully saturated distortion forms the pedal’s core. The Nano Battalion features a three-band EQ with three EQ position modes for maximum flexibility and sound shaping control. The three-band EQ includes Treble (boost/cut above 1kHz) and Bass (boost/cut below 200Hz) controls, plus a Mid switch which provides a 9dB boost or cut at 500Hz. Three signal path options determine where the EQ is applied. In Distortion Mode the EQ comes after the distorted signal and has a powerful effect on its timbre while the clean signal is not affected. In Input Mode the EQ comes first in the signal path affecting both the clean and distorted signals. Boosting frequencies in this mode can drive the distortion to a more saturated state. In Dry Mode the EQ affects the clean signal, but not the distorted signal. The Nano Battalion includes a ¼" input jack and ¼" output jack. When a normal TS cable is connected to the output jack it delivers an unbalanced signal. When a TRS cable is plugged into this jack, it outputs a balanced signal that can go directly into a mixing console or recording interface. The Nano Battalion is a powerful, versatile tool for bass players.
