Red Overdrive

An overdrive designed with vintage microphone pre-amplifier topology in mind. Utilizing the JRC4558 Dual op-amp for two distinctively voiced gain stages. Pedal controls are pre-gain and post-gain. Turn the pre-gain up and post-gain down for a dark, dirty, thick overdrive tone, verging of fuzz territory. With the pre-gain down and the post-gain up you get a rich, full, warm overdriven tone. Turn the both up and hold on to your hat, with over 20db of gain this pedal will scream. Specifications Operates on 9VDC. Both battery and DC jack (center negative) options are provided. Power supply not included.
