Pro Series Signature Chris Broderick Soloist™ HT6

Jackson Guitars Pro Series Signature Chris Broderick Soloist™ HT6 on RigShare
With his dazzling thrash fretwork, former Megadeth and current Act of Defiance guitarist Chris Broderick is heralded as an exacting and modern metal master. When Broderick first came to Jackson to design his own signature model, he had very exacting demands in mind for his take on the venerable SoloistTM. Finding a more-than-willing partner up for the challenge, Broderick coined the longstanding high-performance guitar giant as the €œcompany that could." The results of the collaboration are sophisticated riffing machines loaded with the premium features needed to keep up with the most demanding music produced today. The Pro Series Signature Chris Broderick Soloist HT6 is a 25.5" scale guitar featuring a resonant mahogany body and one-piece through-body maple neck with scarf joint and graphite reinforcement for rock-solid sustain and stability. Its 12"-radius rosewood fingerboard with 24 jumbo frets is ideal for all playing styles, comfortable for both low riffing and soaring leads. Contemporary guitarists require tonal versatility and punchy clarity to keep pace with the rapid twists and turns of today's metal. A pair of Broderick-designed custom DiMarzio® direct mount humbucking neck and bridge pickups punch well above their weight, cranking out monstrous tone that will pin your ears back. The volume control conceals a push/pull switch for coil-splitting, unlocking even more tonal options while the tone control's push/pull switch enables the tone circuit. A mini- toggle killswitch allows for the stuttering effects that have become integral in modern metal. The Jackson Single-String hardtail bridge creates perfect intonation along the entire length of the neck to ensure complex chords ring true, working in harmony with the Jackson-branded sealed die-cast locking machines for tuning stability that can withstand a good pick-hand thrashing without shifting. A brutal beast available in Metallic Blue or Metallic Black with black hardware, the Pro Series Chris Broderick Soloist HT6 also gets an added touch of elegance with a matching reverse 3x3 AT-1 headstock and single-ply black body and neck binding. Dunlop® strap locks also ensure your axe won't go flying during onstage acrobatics.

Hampton

Vintage Inspiration The Hampton is a 21st-century update of the Supro electric solidbody guitar. The elegant comfort of the 1960’s-era beveled-edge Ozark body shape and the mighty sound of the original field-coil pickups have been enhanced with an ultra-fast satin neck, Tune-o-matic bridge and updated wave tailpiece. The result is a modern player’s instrument with old-school style and authentic Supro tone! Gold Foil Pickups The Hampton’s Gold Foil pickups use the same internal construction as the original “Clear-tone” pickups, providing a massive, broadband sound with remarkably low noise for a single-coil design. The mini-humbucker-sized version of the Supro Gold Foil pickup found in this guitar has the same internal construction as the humbucker-sized versions found in the other Island Series models. The Hampton’s bridge pickup is wound slightly hotter than the others, while the middle pickup is RWRP, providing fully hum-cancelling sound in the “2 and 4” positions of the 5-way blade switch. Modern Construction The time-tested tone-wood recipe of an alder body paired with a 25 ½”-scale maple neck and rosewood fretboard combine with the Hampton’s vintage-correct pickups to produce an exceptionally dynamic playing experience. Blending vintage American tone with refined set-neck design, the Supro Hampton is intended for the professional musician who needs an ergonomic and versatile guitar capable of handling most genres of music with authority. The three pickups cover a huge range of tones, from fat single-coil jazz tones in the neck position to spanky funk tones and sparkling twang in the middle, and pure rock power when the bridge pickup is selected.

Westbury

Vintage Inspiration The Westbury is a 21st-century update of the Supro electric solidbody guitar. Gold Foil Pickups The unique Gold Foil pickups found in the Supro Westbury are faithful reproductions of the original magnetics developed for Valco by Ralph Keller in the early 1950s. These pickups, which gave voice to the vintage Chicago-made Supro guitars, have a massive, broadband sound with remarkably low noise for a single-coil design. The humbucker-sized Gold Foil bridge pickup found in the Westbury is slightly overwound, while the neck pickup is reverse-wound in order to provide fully hum-cancelling sound when the two pickups are combined by selecting the middle position of the 3-way toggle switch. Modern Construction The time-tested tone-wood recipe of an alder body paired with a 25 ½”-scale maple neck and rosewood fretboard combine with the Westbury’s vintage-correct pickups to produce an exceptionally dynamic playing experience. Blending vintage American tone with refined set-neck design, the Supro Westbury is intended for the professional musician who needs an ergonomic and versatile guitar capable of handling most genres of music with authority. The Westbury’s dual-pickup configuration lets the player switch effortlessly between warm, single-coil neck pickup sounds, throaty bridge tones, or a perfectly balanced, parallel combination of both pickups for rhythm work.
