Artcore AS73
Ibanez introduced Artcore in 2002 and has been the hollow-body guitar of choice for musicians for the last 10 years. The Artcore's combination of quality workmanship and affordability has created legions of fans from diverse genres as blues, country, rock and jazz. Musicians can find the purity of an old school style jazz-box to a hybrid semi-hollow rocker. Artcore is highly respected for its tone, sustain and the way they hold their tuning and how the series continues to push the boundaries of guitar building.
Sheraton-II
The Epiphone Sheraton-II, once hailed by Blues legend John Lee Hooker as "an out-did 335", combines perfect semi-hollowbody tone with impeccable looks. In 1958 Epiphone produced its first guitars in the Gibson Kalamazoo factory. It was a momentous time for both companies and especially for Epiphone fans and dealers who only a few years before had feared the company might not survive the decade.
1963 ES-335 Varitone Bigsby
This 1963 ES-335TDC Bigsby Varitone pays homage to one of Gibson’s most popular models of the 1960’s with a modern twist. Featuring an authentic 1963 body shape with narrower horns and rolled binding on a dark rosewood fingerboard for a slick, soft-playing feel. This beautifully recreated ES-335TDC comes with a factory installed Bigsby B7, our MTC Premiere with new Mono Varitone control assembly paired with MHS PAF-style Humbucking Pickups. Available now in a limited-run VOS Sixties Cherry Finish.
ES-335 Satin
The 2018 Gibson ES-335 Satin Limited Release is a guitar that has the look and build quality of our ES-335 Traditional, but provides players with the feel of our popular satin finishes. The Burstbucker 1 and Burstbucker 2 pickups are paired with a hand-wired MTC control assembly for optiomal capabilites, while the humbucker covers have been removed to expose the business of your tone. This guitar features classic Gibson quality materials like a quarter sawn mahogany neck with rosewood fingerboard, spruce bracing, maple centerblock, single ply cream binding, and a bone nut. The quality continues with reliable satin hardware like an ABR-1 bridge with titanium saddles, a die cast zinc stopbar, and Grover 102 Rotomatic tuners. Available in Walnut Satin finish, or Wine Red Satin finish.
1958 ES-335 Premiere
Many would argue that early versions of the 1958 Gibson ES-335 are the holy grail of semi-hollowbody guitars. With the 2018 1958 ES-335 Premiere, we took the "dot neck" that started it all and gave it the "Premiere" treatment. All of the historically accurate features are there, like the original "Micky Mouse ear" body shape, the unbound '58 rounded neck with dark rosewood fingerboard, and a '58 Burst finish. However, the thermally engineered maple centerblock and quarter sawn Adirondack spruce bracing take tone and resonance to new levels. Paired with our MTC Historic control assembly and PAF-style MHS Humbucking pickups, you will wonder if a 1958 ES-335 has ever sounded this good.
StarPlayer TV
The Starplayer TV is a semi hollow, dual pickup, 22 fret electric guitar, featuring arched top and back, bent sides and a 647mm scale. The distinctive arched spruce top and elegant flamed maple arched back has elevated the TV to one of the finest guitars in the world. Even being such a versatile instrument, it always retains its discreet character and enriches every type or style of music with its distinct Duesenberg sound. It will remind you of the time when Rock & Roll was still young. For the cutting leads and heavy riffs, we took our own classically wound GrandVintage Humbucker and paired it with our open Domino P90 for airy chords and creamy licks. The middle position of both pickups features a special wiring, which splits certain low end frequencies out of the humbucker signal, resulting in an open and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of sounds. If you decide for the Starplayer TV+ variation, you get an additional Piezo Pickup which can be blended with the original signal from your magnetic pickups to achieve an even wider range of tone. The Rebound charity edition sets you up with rhythm focused Duesenberg Little Toaster Pickups. All our instruments are fitted with our own hardware, which you will only find on a Duesenberg. We design it with attention to even the smallest details to create truly unique instruments from tuner buttons to jack plates. All our fretboards are carefully pleked and finished by hand for optimum playability and the smooth feel they are famous for. Additionally, our Diamond Deluxe Tremola proved to be one of the best of its kind, providing buttery operation and outstanding tuning stability. The Starplayer TV is available in a variety of different, durable PUR or acrylic finishes from standard colours like high-gloss Black or Vintage White, to more extreme approaches like our crocodile tolex Outlaw model or the Mother-of-Pearl mosaic series. Our Starplayer TV semi-hollow guitars are played by many of the top players around the world, and have become one of the staples within the music industry. We would be happy to make yours.
