Cabzeus
Cabzeus is a speaker / cabinet simulator + DI Box pedal, based on sophisticated algorithmic processing. Connected direct to your gears this device enables you to obtain the sound of a miked-guitar amp cabinet without the hassle of doing so. Extending this basic function, we’ve built into Cabzeus a plethora of unique and powerful features that goes beyond simple speaker simulations.
DB1
The ProCo Model DB1 is a simple passive direct box that offers clean, reliable performance. It can be used for nearly any instrument or signal source, from electric bass, keyboards and drum machines to sub-mixers and external speaker outputs*. The DB1 preserves the “punch” and clarity of the sound that is often lost when mic’ ing a speaker, while eliminating the leakage, distortion and coloration. The signal delivered to the P.A. or studio mixer is crisp and clean - a vital element in retaining the full depth and brilliant sound of digital instruments such as synthesizers and digital drum machines. The DB1 may be inserted into the signal path at virtually any stage required. For instance, a bass guitar signal can be “taken direct” from the instrument for a clean, natural tone, from a preamp or line output for a punchier or “equalized” sound, or from the speaker output of the amp if a dirtier “edge” is desired. For stereo or multi-channel applications such as Keyboards or digital drums we recomend the DB2 or DB4A. The four-channel, rack-mountable DB4A Quad Direct Box is highly recommended for multi-channel applications. Built for the road, but equally at home in the recording studio, the DB1’s rugged 16-gauge steel and aluminum “Uni-box” enclosure is finished in a durable black texture powder coat finish with black anodized aluminum side channels. The uniquely slotted side channels allow for stacking on top or strapping side-to-side of virtually any number of ProCo TradeTools devices using the Uni-box construction. Easy to read control graphics are incorporated into the Lexan® top panel overlay. *properly loaded speaker output.
REDDI
The number of A-Designs REDDI's in use on stages and studios all over the world is nothing short of staggering. Quite simply, there just is no better sounding way to convert an instrument or line level signal to XLR. Designed with the help of top studio engineers and bass players, REDDI has been widely praised by engineers and bassists all over the world as the best-sounding DI solution on the market today. It is important to note that the REDDI is not a high-gain device! Its gain structure has been painstakingly engineered to avoid the slightest compromise in sound quality. Inspired by the glorious sound of the Ampeg B-15 tube bass amp, REDDI’s 6N1-P tube-driven amplifier feeds signal directly into a hefty custom output transformer by Cinemag – a key component to providing a harmonically rich tone. REDDI’S extremely wide frequency range (20Hz to 60kHz) prevents in-band phase shift, resulting in outstanding detail and realism. Another major benefit of its wide bandwidth is the prevention of LF phase shift by maintaining a linear response extending below the audible bass range, insuring a full, natural sound. REDDI’S distinctive bright red steel chassis sports a front-panel Neutrik XLR/1/4” combo input jack, balanced XLR output, and a 1/4” thru-put, for sending signal to a bass amp – not only useful for live applications, but also for simultaneously recording direct and miked amp tracks in the studio. A 0-16dB-level control and a bright blue LED power indicator complete the front panel controls. On the back panel are heavy-duty toggle switches for power and ground lift, along with the IEC power outlet. The REDDI’s all-tube circuitry will enhance the character of any electrified instrument run through it – not just bass! Plug the pickup of an acoustic guitar through REDDI to add depth and fullness to its tone. Capture and improve all the richness and life of an electric piano or analog synthesizer. Warm up sterile sounding digital keyboards or drum machines by strapping a REDDI across their output – or two, for stereo!
SWDI
The SWDI is the first 2 channel direct box made specifically to be pedalboard friendly. It has parallel In and Thru 1/4 inch jacks on either side for A channel and B channel. Send the signal into either side and out the other. Either way, it’s okay!
