Delay Workstation
With the Delay Workstation you can combine vintage slapback and multi-head tape echoes with Spring or plate reverbs to create some instantly classic sound spaces. You can set the Delay Workstation for warm sounding analog delays and then use the chamber or hall reverbs to create a huge warm and endless space. Need rhythmic delays with some shimmer? It's here. Always wanted to have the perfect ducking delay? One that backs out of the way until your done with your notes, then the echoes fill in. "Ducking" is a very intelligent way for clearing the clutter in a sound that would normally be overrun with delays and echoes. Wanna get twisted? Try the Pitch delay into our Flanged Reverb.
Dark Side
The individual pieces that make up the Dark Side workstation are Fuzz, Delay and Modulation. The Fuzz side of the Dark Side is a big fuzz style distortion based on a 1977 op-amp style. We used something similar in our Psi Fuzz. This one is completely and radically different. We made what seemed like endless changes to extract the nuances of earlier transistor based fuzzes. We gained it way to down to fit the time period and the style. This is a more transparent Big Fuzz. This one lets your guitar sing with sustain, yet retains the essence of you guitar whether single coil or humbucker based.
Unicorn V2
In 2015 we brought you the Unicorn V1 ...the world's first bulb-driven photocell modulator with tap tempo...our very own Uni-Vibe if you will. This Spring 2018 we are proud to bring you the Unicorn V2! Pink Floyd’s “Breathe,” Jimi Hendrix’s “Star Spangled Banner live at Woodstock 1969," and Robin Trower’s “Bridge of Sighs” cemented the sound of a photocell-based vibe effect as an electric guitar standard. The JHS Pedals Unicorn is our version of this heralded effect, continuing the inspiring modulation/phasing/rotary sounds that never fail to push musical boundaries. And just like the originals, we included a toggle for choosing between a Uni-Vibe* effect and a traditional vibrato setting. What sets Unicorn apart from all other vibe-style circuits is that it is the first-ever fully analog, photocell-based vibe with tap tempo as well as ratio, external tap control, and external rate control via expression pedal (optional). And the Unicorn does it all with only four knobs and a mini-toggle switch. In a day and age when everything has been seen and done, we bring you the first-ever, 100% analog vibe photocell modulator with onboard tap tempo. You’re welcome.
Panther Cub V2
In 2011, we released the Panther Analog Delay. Almost exactly two years later in 2013, we tried a nearly impossible feat of taking everything we love about the Panther Delay, making a few improvements, and packaging it into an enclosure half the size. Today in 2018 we're repeating the feat and making the Panther Cub V2 half the size once again!
Lucky Cat Delay
In 2007, we released our very first delay pedal, the Pink Panther. That pedal was instantly recognizable with it’s bright pink case and shiny silver knobs...but not every cat has 9 lives and we only produced about 100 units before a chip set was no longer available, forcing the pedal out of production. It was also quirky and unreliable, as many early designs can be when you’re getting your feet off the ground. So, we decided to revisit this now beloved delay and rebuild it from the ground up. We now present a simple digital delay/echo that has everything you need and nothing you don’t. This may be your lucky day!
Polymoon
Super-Modulated Delay inspired by cascaded rack gear. Tidal soundscapes and super-modulated repeat trails will lead to new inspiration with every note you play. Guitar, synthesizer or any instrument will take on new shapes and forms with the Polymoon’s massive algorithmic flow.
Thermae
Thermae™ represents a radically new approach to analog delay and harmonization. The pedal digitally manipulates the analog signal path created by 4 re-issued versions of the legendary MN3005 bucket-brigade delay chips. This creates the ability to change delay time in musically interesting intervals which allows for innumerable options for harmonizing and other sonic madness. These intervals can be sequenced through automatically or triggered manually for ultimate usability in a musical context. Thermae™ can also be used as a more standard analog delay with unprecedented analog modulation options. Every knob and switch is connected to a little digital brain while your guitar signal stays 100% analog and never gets digitally processed.
Tonal Recall RKM
The “Red Knob Mod” version of Tonal Recall is built around 4 re-issued versions of the legendary MN3005 bucket-brigade delay chips. It’s maximum delay time is increased to 1100ms and the unmistakable analog character of this delay is front and center. Tonal Recall expands upon the classic vintage sounds associated with analog delays of yesteryear while bringing modern amenities such as tap tempo, optional bypass with trails, expression control over any parameter, and the ability to save presets. Every knob and switch is connected to a little digital brain while your guitar signal stays 100% analog and never gets digitally processed.
