G6139-CB White Falcon
The Gretsch Professional Collection introduces an innovative version of the venerable Falcon design with the arrival of the G6139 Falcon Center-Block Single Cut-Away guitar. It features a beautiful 1 ¾"-deep single-cutaway three-ply maple body with a 16"-lower bout, arched top and back, multi-ply sparkle appointments and oversized f holes. The centerpiece of the model is a long spruce center block. The center block runs the entire length of the body and imparts several sonic advantages. First, it minimizes body-resonant feedback and allows a more "high gain-friendly" performance. Second, it's made of spruce, which produces a spirited, lively tone. Third, the center block itself is chambered at the lower bout to minimize weight. Fourth, the pinned wood bridge base extends over the sides of the center block about 5/8" on either side, transferring string-vibration energy to the two f-hole-vented body chambers to produce a rich and full-bodied tone. Other premium features include a three-piece maple neck; 12"-radius ebony fingerboard with 22 medium jumbo frets, pearloid Neo-Classic "thumbnail" inlays and multi-ply sparkle appointments; Gretsch "winged/vertical" sparkle logo; and dual High Sensitive Filter'Tron pickups. The guitar also has jeweled-arrow knobs and gold hardware, an Adjusto-Matic bridge with pinned ebony base and Cadillac "G" tailpiece, Grover Imperial tuners and Schaller strap locks. Deluxe hard-shell case included.
G2655T Streamliner™
The exhilarating G2655T Streamliner Center Block Junior Double Cutaway is designed for three simple things—high gain-friendly performance, slick, easy playability and spectacular style. A sleek music machine, the G2655T cranks out the hits with updated features while staying true to That Great Gretsch Sound!™ that’s been a vital component of rock ‘n’ roll since its inception. The secret to the Streamliner’s sound is twofold—the Broad’Tron humbucking pickup and the spruce center block. Specifically designed by the expert engineers at Gretsch for the Streamliner, the high-output Broad’Tron pickup spawns robust lows, pristine highs and a throaty midrange for a unique tone that blends well with other instruments in a band context. A lightweight spruce center block runs the length of the body, reinforcing the top while eliminating undesired feedback for volume-friendly performance on modern stages. The Streamliner’s sonic power is harnessed and shaped by the traditional control layout—neck and bridge pickup volume controls, a master tone control, master volume control and three-way pickup switching. Add some shimmer and expression to your playing with the Bigsby®-licensed B50 vibrato tailpiece while the Adjusto-matic™ bridge with anchored base and synthetic bone nut grant astounding tuning stability and accurate, slip-free intonation. A fast-playing 12”-radius rosewood fingerboard with elegant pearloid block inlays and 22 medium jumbo frets sits atop the white-bound neck with a thin “U”-shaped profile—ideal for chord work or fiery riffing. All the classic eye-catching style you’ve come to expect from Gretsch is here—vintage-style black control knobs, F Holes, elegant two-ply white and black body binding, slick-looking nickel hardware, single-ply black pickguard with Gretsch logo and arched laminated maple construction. Easy to play while rocking out thanks to its smaller body, G2655T Streamliner Center Block Junior Double Cutaway with Bigsby is a phenomenal instrument for the modern musician who wants to control the stage and the audience while standing out from the pack.
G5438T Electromatic Pro Jet
The Electromatic Pro Jet with Bigsby B50 tailpiece takes on a new identity and voice with hump-block fretboard inlays and "Black Top" Filter'Tron Pickups. The two-tone body color scheme (black or gold top with walnut stained back and sides), fabricated with an arched maple top chambered basswood body resonates true to "That Great Gretsch Sound". Classic appointments such as the Adjustomatic Bridge, threaded knurled strap buttons, "G" Arrow Knobs and Gretsch logo on pickguard are proudly featured.
G6122 Jr Electric Guitar
The Gretsch 6122 JR combines the classic Country Gent package with a scaled down and comfy body. Fairly rare, they only made these for a few years. Top notch made in Japan quality with excellent specs throughout. The 14" semi hollow body is made of laminated maple for enhanced sustain and feedback resistance. The 24.6 inch scale maple neck features a bound ebony fingerboard with thumbprint inlays. A duo of Filtertron humbuckers deliver big tone. A Bigsby tailpiece, Tuneomatic bridge and Grover Rotomatic tuners round out the hardware. The finish is classic Gretsch walnut stain and is set off by gold hardware. A very cool guitar for anyone looking for a unique take on the classic Gretsch package. Like most recent Gretsch guitars, this Jr plays and sounds nice. The neck is straight, the action is low and the frets are good. A nice player. The pickups sound great delivering classic Gretsch sparkle. A good sounding and versatile guitar. This is a nice used guitar in VG-EX condition. It shows normal playwear including light pick an clearcoat scratches as well as light to moderate indents and some wear on the gold hardware. Normal wear and tear. Comes in original hardshell case. Gretsch no longer offer the 6122-JR. A shame really as these were nice guitars that offered a lot more vibe than your average hollowbody. A regular 6122 will set you back $2549 at the superstores. Here's a very unique guitar for less. BUY IT NOW and own a great Gretsch!
