The Howard Roberts fusion was first introduced in 1979 and had a 14 and 7/8" semi hollow body, deep cutaway shape very similar to the Gibson Les Paul solid body models, 2 humbucking pickups ,chrome hardware, tp-6 tailpiece, bound back and top, and ebony fingerboard.
