Marshall Amplification, in conjunction with the estate of the late, great Randy Rhoads, is pleased to introduce the new Limited Edition Randy Rhoads Tribute 100-watt head. Crafted to harness the now-legendary tones which continue to inspire generations of guitar players, the signature 1959RR is a fitting tribute to Rhoads’ unique musical persona which has rocked the music world for over 25 years. The 1959RR boasts the exact circuitry and Marshall factory "mod" that Rhoads’ original, iconic white Marshall 1959 houses. When he first joined Ozzy Osbourne’s band, Rhoads had Marshall custom-build his white head and also had it modified at the factory for more gain - which involved cascading the two halves of the first ECC83 valve in the preamp section. With the blessing and help of the Rhoads family, a Marshall design engineer traveled to California and opened up Randy’s original amp head (kept under lock and key) to confirm the modification and circuitry to ensure it was duplicated exactly in the tribute model. This all-valve head (3 x ECC83 in the preamp, 4 x EL34s in the power amp) features two channels, I and II, each with two inputs - high sensitivity and low sensitivity. Both channels share passive tone-shaping controls for Bass, Middle, Treble and Presence. Its white vinyl covering, black corners and large black script logo make it instantly recognizable as "Randy’s head" to all hard rock fans. The back panel features the signatures of Dr. Jim Marshall OBE and Randy Rhoads

1799 Statesman 2 x 12″ Extension Cab

The Supro 1799 Statesman 2 x 12 Extension cabinet is the loudest and most powerful speaker cab in the Supro line. Loaded with the Supro BD12 speakers we originally developed for the Black Magick amplifier, the Supro 1799 2 x 12” Statesman Extension is the perfect companion to the 1699RH Statesman head and 1695TH Black Magick head. The Statesman 2 x 12 extension cabinet is rated for up to 150 Watts and features switchable 4-Ohm / 16-Ohm impedance settings as well as parallel input jacks for daisy chaining multiple cabinets. One, two or even four Statesman 2 x 12 cabs can be connected to a single Statesman head for maximum impact on stage. The Statesman 2 x 12 extension cabinet also sounds fantastic when paired with a Marshall and provides enough power handling to function with a 100W or 120W tube amp head from any manufacturer. The BD12 speaker found in the Statesman 2 x 12 cabinet features and oversized ceramic magnet, top-of-the-line suspension and a UK-made speaker cone. This unique speaker recipe was designed by Bruce Zinky for Supro amps specifically to capture the Page / Zep I inspired tones found in our award-winning Black Magick amplifier. Armed with a pair of these custom drivers, the Statesman 2 x 12 Extension Cabinet’s partially-open-back design delivers the classic Supro sound with astonishing volume and extended bass response.

The Supro 1700 1 x 12 Supreme Extension cabinet is the ideal companion to the 1600 Supreme and 1610RT Comet combo amplifiers. Sized to fit perfectly underneath our classic series 1 x 10 rigs, this partially open-back, vintage-style cabinet is loaded with a Supro BD12 speaker. This custom-made, high-power driver originally designed for the Black Magick amplifier contains a specialty British cone, top-of-the-line suspension and an oversize ceramic magnet, adding considerable punch and projection to the Supreme and Comet rigs. With the 1 x 12” extension cabinet connected along with the combo’s 10” internal speaker, the Supro Supreme and Comet amplifiers run down at 4-ohms, developing maximum power from their Class-A output sections. The Supro 1700 Supreme extension cabinet adds considerable versatility for larger stages and pedal-based rigs where maximum headroom is required from a compact, vintage flavored combo.
