Black Fuzz
The Black Fuzz is a simple and elegant pedal. The Black Fuzz has a pretty unique sound--imagine an overdriven B*ssman amp, with a slight amount of fuzz tacked on top...that's the territory this guy gets into! The single knob adjusts the output volume level of the pedal. This pedal is very fat and pick sensitive.
Pollinator V2
The buzz of a fuzz face is as recognizable as any tone in modern music. With our Pollinator V2, we offer up our take on this classic circuit with enough control to create the vintage fuzz tone that’s been flying around in your head. With true germanium transistors and updated controls from the V1, it’s time you found out what gives the Pollinator V2 its wings.
Muffuletta
The Big Muff fuzz has been around so long, been on so many classic recordings, and been through so many variations that every guitarist out there has a favorite version of its iconic tone. JHS wanted to pay tribute to that undeniably classic fuzz pedal, but we couldn’t come to a consensus about which Muff was king. With the Muffuletta, our indecision is your gain. We crammed five all-analog re-creations of the pedal’s most beloved tones into this box. We even threw in a JHS-exclusive tone that is our take on the historic stomp. No matter what Big Muff era you prefer, you can get ‘em all in the JHS Muffuletta fuzz pedal.
Mini Foot Fuzz
The JHS Pedals Mini Foot Fuzz is small, ruthless, and simple. It’s 1” x 3” of ferocious fuzz that can melt even the most anti-fuzz activist’s heart. The mini enclosure that restrains the Mini Foot’s explosive personality fits easily on even the most crowded pedalboards. And a stomp of the footswitch unleashes rich harmonics, massive headroom, and thick fuzz/overdrive that may cause you to wonder, “What if I had had this pedal years ago? Would I be famous...?” Yes. We’re pretty sure you would be.
Kingmaker Fuzz
Inside the Kingmaker Fuzz's compact enclosure live the sizzling tones of over 50 years of fuzz and overdrive technology. On its own the Kingmaker features three killer fuzz tones including a highly saturated yet articulate fuzz for violin-like lead tones and pummeling rhythm, a responsive fuzz that cleans up nicely with reduced input signal, and an octave circuit that unleashes a screaming, octave fuzz in the style of vintage Octavio pedals. Connect the Kingmaker to the Neuro Desktop Editor or Mobile App (free download for iOS,Android, Mac, and Windows) and access a massive collection of additional overdrive, fuzz and distortion tones with extended parametric EQ capabilities, stereo routing options, and internal stacking functionality.
Bellows
This little two-knobber is a nod to the non-master volume amps of yesteryear and the fiery tones that come only from diming these vintage behemoths and letting 'er rip until the tubes catch fire. The Bellows isn’t based on anything in particular, but it straddles the line between amp-like grit and fuzzy saturation, with a bunch of useful distorted places in between, capturing nearly every era of Rock-and-Roll in a box. If I were you (and it’s a good thing I’m not) I’d resist the usual urge to dime it right away, as the Bellows’ character changes dramatically based on where the “Drive” is set.
Erupter
We used every trick in the book to craft a classic fuzz Device that sounds good with any pickup type, anywhere in the chain (even before a wah pedal!) without any tone-sucking impedance mismatching. We build each Erupter with a buffered input section, transformer-based pickup simulation, new production 5% ½ watt carbon composition resistors, metallized polyester film capacitors, Sprague and BC electrolytic capacitors, and low-gain, hand-matched NOS silicon transistors to deliver a well-rounded and defined fuzz tone with just enough pummeling intensity, so you can rock n’ roll all night and still get to bed at a reasonable hour.
Fuzz Master General
The Fuzz Master General is our take on the vintage Ace Tone Fuzz Master FM-2 Professional fuzz machine, an octave fuzz that was very similar to the wildly popular Super Fuzz. We have taken the basic circuit and re-imagineered it to be more useful for the modern player.
