Keeley Compression is how. The Keeley Compressor Plus is the first true advancement in our 2 and 4 knob compressor line. The new features are simple and straight forward. Now there is a simple Release Switch that is tuned for single coils or humbuckers. No more wondering if you have the attack or release set right. Your humbuckers will have all the attack and punch that they should. Our team designed a gorgeous sounding Tone Control which emphasizes the most sensitive harmonics that can be lost in compression. The Compressor Plus now sports a Blend Control that retains the peaks in your playing and, more importantly, the proper phasing of your guitar signal. The Keeley Compressor Plus offers the same gorgeous push of frequencies and sweetening of tone that the old comps gave you, now with the flexibility to easily handle any instrument. The Keeley Compressor Plus is a compressor with an expander/sustainer. Not only does it act as a regular compressor, limiting the peaks in your playing, it adds more and more gain as notes fade out. Now you have sustain. Nothing worse than a note or a bend that has died before its time. The Keeley Compressor Plus adds just the right amount of sustain and expressive bloom to your notes. The new Release Switch on the Keeley Compressor Plus is designed to make it very easy to transition between single coil and humbucker guitars. Humbuckers have more average energy than single coils which can cause compressors to stay in “compression mode” for a lot longer. When this happens, any series of notes you play will sound dull. With the quick release of the new Compressor Plus, your humbuckers remain true sounding, and each note retains dynamic attack and definition. The Tone Control is our own design taken from analog delays and other vintage effects. Those effects used an emphasis circuit to recover treble and highs after they went through the BBD or other analog delay lines. We took that circuit and made it into a full fledged tone control! We have found that it is the perfect way to gently add back in those highs lost in the compression process. The Blend Control is a way of getting the peaks to come through while having sustain at the same time. So if you want sustain more than peak-limiting, this style of Manhattan Compression is for you! Keep all the peaks and transients with the Blend and Tone Controls while adding sustain on the back end. Heaven! This compressor isn’t just for heavy funk or chicken pickin’ anymore. The new Compressor Plus is for players wanting a smooth, subtle wash from their guitar. Remove just the right amount of peaks for an ambient layer and then blend in the right amount of treble for a nice shimmer to your guitar. Housed in a beautiful powder coated Blue 16ga. steel enclosure, the dual-channel Full-Drive 2 Mosfet gives you the best of both worlds. The first channel is the Overdrive Mode, capable of clean boost or non-compressed overdrive or choose light to medium softer overdrives all while retaining your guitar's original tone. The Tone knob is a very effective presence control that can smooth out or add upper harmonics. The second channel is the "Boost Mode" with its own separate distortion control for medium to higher gains with a more singing violin-like sustain!

DRV No2

I am so excited to bring you DRV No2, which will be the same as the first run sonically and structurally. It’s hard to tell from the pictures, but it is a soft, slightly reflective, flat chrome color. I really love how unique this enclosure looks and feels and I hope that you do, too. I feel that it was closer to my initial inspiration - the DeLorean (also released in 1981). This type of powder coat is unique in that it is flat and does not have a top clear coat. This means that each pedal will wear uniquely, like a nice pair of jeans or a vintage pedal maybe? My goal in this project is to capture the feel and essence of a vintage pedal—that extra something special—and I feel that the DRV captures the vibe of a vintage pedal in its specificity alone. This is a unique sounding pedal. I will be building these pedals by hand along with trusted and skilled friends. All pedals will come with an updated black canvas bag made by my friends at Cully Craft / Benson Amps. I decided to go with the same style as the first limited bag option for this run, adding a branded 1981 Inventions tag.

With original late-70s Op-Amp Big Muffs selling for exorbitant prices, Mike Matthews decided to take the power to the people and reissue the classic pedal at a price that players could afford! The circuitry of the new Op-Amp Big Muff —sometimes also referred to as the IC or V4 Big Muff— has been faithfully re-created while several practical enhancements have been added including a compact, die-cast chassis and true bypass switching. “The Op-Amp Big Muff was popularized by the brilliant Billy Corgan who first used it on the Smashing Pumpkins’ epic 1993 album Siamese Dream. After he was videotaped playing and talking about the reissue, Billy stated: ‘The magic’s still in the box, I can still get what I’m looking for!’” - Mike Matthews The pedal relies on op-amps rather than transistors and three gain stages rather than four, to create its signature sound. It’s a sound that’s been described by noted Big Muff collector and historian, Kit Rae, as: “a huge, crushing Big Muff sound with more crunch… great for grungy, wall-of-sound distortion, heavy rhythm playing and heavy leads.”
