A stroke of genius in the company's Mark series, the Mesa Boogie Mark IIC+ earned a hallowed place in the hall of high-output amps with legends like Kirk Hammett and John Petrucci singing (or playing) its praises. Many imitators have come along since, but purists claim nothing can match the original searing, thick tone.
