American Standard Stratocaster

The Fender American Stratocaster Electric Guitar is a Fender icon. Juicy upgrades include a richer, deeper neck tint for a more elegant and expensive appearance; glossed neck front for improved looks with satin back for smooth playability; and bent steel Fender saddles with classic look and great tone. String spacing is narrowed for modern playability, saddle height screws are resized to reduce rough feel, and string slot on saddle is elongated to reduce string friction or breakage. The Copper Infused Cast Strat® Bridge Block (steel with copper”100% metal) provides increased mass and improved tone. This Strat features the original headstock shape but has staggered machine heads losing one string tree and improving string angle over the nut. Custom staggered pickup magnets improve string-to-string balance and give the G-string better tone. Cosmetics include parchment/black/parchment pickguard and parchment pickup covers, knobs, and tips. The return of the American Standard Series Strat continues Fender's tradition of commitment to the people who play Fender instruments out there in the real world. Today's American Standard Stratocaster guitars are worthy heirs of their revered ancestors”mindful of player needs and taking full advantage of modern advances, yet remaining completely true to the elements and spirit that made these instruments popular in the first place. They feature excellent bridges, neck and body finishes, and a Fender-exclusive high-tech molded case. Still on board for the American Standard Strat are the beloved hand-rolled fingerboard edges, Alnico V pickups, the Delta system that includes a high-output bridge pickup and a special no-load tone control, providing more gain, more high end, and a little more "raw" tone, and staggered tuning machines for tone and stability guaranteed to last a lifetime (with its limited lifetime warranty)! American Standard Strat® Bridge Gives sought-after tone with modern smooth trem travel. Block retains the mass and tone of a vintage bridge block, but is chamfered for access to deeper dives. Saddles have the classic look and tone, but with modern improvements (spacing, slot elongation, height, screw length). Bridge Component Specifics American Standard saddles - The original vintage-style Fender bent steel adjustable saddle is one of the components that give vintage Fenders their tonal 'mojo.' Fender conducted tone comparison tests, and fell in love with them all over again. They have a wider tonal range and more character many other saddles. Then Fender improved them; narrowing the spacing to afford more room (and complement the bigger frets and rolled edges), elongated the string slot to reduce friction and string breakage, and improved the string break angle over the primary contact point. Tone-fusion block - A typical cast bridge block is impregnated with a resin to eliminate voids in the material and to bond it together ¦ this steel block is infused with copper, which makes the block 100% homogeneous metal. The result is a more musical, higher mass bridge that has more of that machined-block sound. Fender was also able to keep the same American Series profile for increased tremolo travel.

Les Paul Studio

The Les Paul Studio has been a popular choice of hard-working guitarists everywhere ever since its introduction in 1983. Now, Gibson USA brings increased sonic versatility and performance upgrades to a new Les Paul Studio as part of its big 2013 Year of Les Paul celebrations. The 2013 Les Paul Studio blends timeless tonewoods and components with improved comfort, powerful humbucking pickups with built-in coil-splitting switching for the added versatility of single-coil tones, and the classic looks that define it as a genuine Gibson Les Paul. To ram it all full speed into the 21st century, the 2013 Les Paul Studio is now also available with optional Min-ETune™ automated “robot” tuning, which can be added to your guitar with no internal modification for a nominal upcharge. All this, and the 2013 Les Paul Studio looks stunning in your choice of Ebony, Alpine White, Wine Red, or Vintage Sunburst finish, all in high-gloss nitrocellulose lacquer, or Goldtop with dark back and neck. A left-handed version is also available, and for an added touch of class, there’s a 2013 Les Paul Studio Gold Series, with gold-plated hardware and pickup covers, and a gloss top finish with satin back and neck. The 2013 Les Paul Studio is tone-assured right from the start, thanks to a foundation of the traditional tonewoods that helped to make the Les Paul Standard legendary when it first arrived six decades ago. A carved solid maple top lends bite and articulation to the sound, while a select mahogany back—treated with Gibson’s new modern weight relief pattern to increase playing comfort and enhance resonance—contributes superb warmth and depth. A solid, quarter-sawn mahogany neck is glued in and carved in the fast 60s SlimTaper™ profile, and topped with a rich brown Granadillo fingerboard with 22 medium-jumbo frets and traditional trapezoid inlays. In keeping with the stripped-down Studio ethos, the body and fingerboard are left unbound, but the 2013 retains elegant touches in its pickguard, hot-stamped truss-rod cover, and black or gold speed knobs, depending on finish. Classic Gibson construction ensures optimum playability, too, along with traditional specs like a 24 ¾” scale length, a 1 11/16” width across the PLEK-cut Corian™ nut, and a 12-inch fingerboard radius for smooth, easy bending. A pair of Gibson USA’s Modern Classics™ humbucking pickups prime the 2013 Les Paul Studio for unparalleled tonal versatility. Both are made in the image of the legendary PAF humbucker, with Alnico magnets and 42-AWG wire, but adapted for the demands of contemporary players. A 490R in the neck position offers vintage warmth and throaty blues tones, while a hotter 498T in the bridge belts out all the scorch, sizzle and sustain you require. Furthermore, both are wired for coil splitting, with individual push-pull tone-control switching to tap authentic single-coil tones, which are even wired for hum cancelling in the middle position. The innovative pairing of a Tune-o-Matic bridge and Stopbar tailpiece ensure solid sustain and precise intonation, while a set of high-quality TonePros™ vintage-style tuners—upgradable to the automated Min-ETune System for a nominal charge—ensure smooth, accurate tuning. Go for gold with the 2013 Les Paul Studio Gold Series, and get the same features with classy gold-plated hardware. Each guitar includes a black Gibson hardshell case, owner’s manual, and truss-rod wrench, and comes covered by Gibson USA’s Limited Lifetime Warranty and 24/7/365 Customer Service.

StarPlayer TV

The Starplayer TV is a semi hollow, dual pickup, 22 fret electric guitar, featuring arched top and back, bent sides and a 647mm scale. The distinctive arched spruce top and elegant flamed maple arched back has elevated the TV to one of the finest guitars in the world. Even being such a versatile instrument, it always retains its discreet character and enriches every type or style of music with its distinct Duesenberg sound. It will remind you of the time when Rock & Roll was still young. For the cutting leads and heavy riffs, we took our own classically wound GrandVintage Humbucker and paired it with our open Domino P90 for airy chords and creamy licks. The middle position of both pickups features a special wiring, which splits certain low end frequencies out of the humbucker signal, resulting in an open and extremely versatile addition to your pallet of sounds. If you decide for the Starplayer TV+ variation, you get an additional Piezo Pickup which can be blended with the original signal from your magnetic pickups to achieve an even wider range of tone. The Rebound charity edition sets you up with rhythm focused Duesenberg Little Toaster Pickups. All our instruments are fitted with our own hardware, which you will only find on a Duesenberg. We design it with attention to even the smallest details to create truly unique instruments from tuner buttons to jack plates. All our fretboards are carefully pleked and finished by hand for optimum playability and the smooth feel they are famous for. Additionally, our Diamond Deluxe Tremola proved to be one of the best of its kind, providing buttery operation and outstanding tuning stability. The Starplayer TV is available in a variety of different, durable PUR or acrylic finishes from standard colours like high-gloss Black or Vintage White, to more extreme approaches like our crocodile tolex Outlaw model or the Mother-of-Pearl mosaic series. Our Starplayer TV semi-hollow guitars are played by many of the top players around the world, and have become one of the staples within the music industry. We would be happy to make yours.
